Kenneth "Kenny" Brown

Kenneth “Kenny” Brown, 57, passed away on May 13, 2025 at MercyOne in Des Moines.
Kenny was born on March 21, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan to Dennis Brown and Carol Adcock. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and having no filter. Kenny had a big heart and some of his happiest times were when he was helping others. He loved listening to music and cruising. Kenny was always unapologetically himself. He could put a smile on anyone’s face even in the darkest moments. His nieces and nephews adored him and will miss him dearly. Kenny’s authentic friendships and unwavering support of his family and friends will never be forgotten. Above all else, he treasured time spent with his family, especially his mom whom he always had a very special bond with.
Kenny is survived by his sisters, Denise Moore and Lisa Logan; Uncle Ray (Carol) Miller; nieces and nephews, Kori (Stephanie) Moore, Kelli (Miranda) Moore, Kodi (Emily) Baughman, Kasi (Emily) Baughman, Alex Gibbs, Andy Gibbs, Noa (Dakota) Moore, Charles Logan and Mallory Logan; great-nieces, MacKenzie, Mia, Veronica and Elmeda; great-nephew, Everett; and many other loving relatives and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol Adcock and Dennis Brown and his grandparents, Ken and Zelma Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Williamson Community Center in Williamson, Iowa.

Kenny, you left us too soon. I know you are in that better place now many of us call heaven, rest easy and know you are always loved, cousin! I know you are reunited with your mom, grandparents and all the relatives & special people.

Oh Kenny, my dear sweet friend, you were truly one of a kind, the very best kind! Anytime day or night you were always there to talk to. I know you are kicking it with your Mom in heaven and are feeling no pain, I will truly miss talking to you and our crazy by chance meetings.
