Linda Cavanh

Linda Cavanh, 54, passed away June 14, 2025. She was born August 10, 1970 in Xienghone, Laos to her parents, Zoune Sytaphong and Kham Inthaboun.

Linda enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. She liked to cook and try out new recipes. Linda was an active member of the Tai Lue community often taking part in organized events contributing her delicious foods and co-hosting skills.

Linda is survived by her children, Malissa, Alissa, Marvin, and Marlyn, brothers; Som Inthaboune, Bounyung Khonla, and Khathon Manody, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zoune Sytaphong and Kham Inthaboun; husband, Edward Cavanh; and siblings, Savathdy Inthaboun, Cindy Khattiya and Nath Inthaboune.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens with cremation to follow the service. Burial will take place at 12 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University Avenue in Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cavanh family in loving memory of Linda.
