Linda Cramblit, 81, died on January 22, 2026, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on September 29, 1944, to Woodrow and Margaret (Walker) Wilde. Linda married John F. Cramblit in December of 1967 and moved to Des Moines where they bought a home and raised their two children.

In her earlier years, you could find Linda crocheting beautiful blankets or intricate patterned dolls. As she aged, she enjoyed watching the Antique Road Show and had a special weakness for Perkins pies that her grandson would bring her. Linda had a passion for reading and could often be found holding her Kindle.

Linda is survived by her son, John; daughter, Shannon; grandchildren, Rachael, Brandon, Leah, and Trevor; great-grandchildren, Emerson and Hayden; sister, Janet; and brother, Daryl. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dan and Gary; and husband, John F. Cramblit.
