Linda Lee (Witt) Gould

Linda Lee (Witt) Gould, 77, of Des Moines, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026, at her home. She was born April 13, 1948 in Deep River, Iowa, to Raymond and Katherine Witt.

Linda had many hobbies. She would spend her free time cooking, collecting recipes, watching game shows, and playing traditional games and puzzles. She also would have personal bets with Mike Gould on sports.

She enjoyed bowling leagues, which is where she met her future husband. They married on March 24, 1986.

Linda was retired and loved being with her dog Bishop. She will be deeply missed by many. She carried the role of aunt, but was also known as a mother and grandmother in some parts of the family, because of her loving care, accountability, kindness, and always being there.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bonnie Kern; nephew, Troy Harsh; and grand-niece, Sabrina Busch.

She is survived by her husband, Micheal Gould; sister, Phyllis Hendryx; nieces and nephews, David (Tonya) Busch, Joseph (Karena) Busch, Nicole (Pat) Bond, Kimberly Harsh, and Corey Harsh; and loving grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great grand-nieces, and great grand-nephews.

The family will be greeting friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home; 5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA, 50315.
