Linda Myrtle Stepp

Linda Myrtle Stepp, aged 67, passed away on January 12th, 2026, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Linda was born in Des Moines to Winfrey Stepp and Bernice (Brommell) Stepp on February 9th, 1958. She had six brothers.

Linda had an eccentric personality and free spirit. She was unapologetically herself and known to be unfiltered. She loved animals, especially horses and cats. Her favorite pass times included sharing a good conversation with friends and family, playing gin rummy and most of all spending time with her grandson.

Linda is survived by her daughters Laura Meleney, Katie (Max) Corvil and her grandson, Ace Meleney. She was proceeded in death by her parents and most of her brothers.
