Marilee Springer

Marilee Jo Springer, 66, passed away June 18, 2026 at Taylor House Hospice.

Marilee was born March 6, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents, David and Betty Foxworthy. She graduated from East High School in 1978. Marilee retired in 2002 from Hennepin County Records in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She found great joy in spending time with her family and was the family genealogist. Marilee also really enjoyed Gaither music.

She is survived by her son, Eric Springer; sister, Laura (Jim) Millard; nieces, Brianna (Steve) Majerus and Courtney (Patrick) Mork; and great nieces and nephews, Hunter, Hadley, Lennox, and Lily.

Marilee is preceded in death by her parents and half-brother, Timothy Foxworthy.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Berean Assembly of God Church, 5299 E University Avenue in Pleasant Hill. Marilee will be laid to rest following at Laurel Hill Cemetery 3601 E Court Avenue in Des Moines.
