Michael E. Stocker
January 21, 1953 — April 06, 2026
Michael Eugene Stocker, 73, passed away at home on April 6, 2026.
Born on January 21, 1953, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Michael was the son of Carl and Bonnie Stocker. He was raised with strong family values and carried them with him throughout his life. Michael graduated from Lincoln High School before attending DMACC, where he studied mechanical drafting. He later completed an apprenticeship through Carpenters Local 106, beginning a long and dedicated career in the trade. Michael took great pride in his work and spent 34 years building not only structures, but also a life defined by hard work, dependability, and integrity.
On October 5, 1974, Michael married Susan Stocker (O’Brien), the love of his life. Together they built a loving home and shared more than five decades of marriage filled with family, devotion, and treasured memories.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Susan; his children, Chad Stocker (Emelia), Lindsey Griffith (David), and Nicole Reed (Jody); and his constant companion, his beloved fur baby, Angel. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Benjamin, Hunter, Samuel, Sophie, Dallas, Aliya, Isabelle, Finn, and Everett. His grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he cherished every opportunity to support them, especially at their sporting events.
He is also survived by his father, Carl Stocker; his siblings, Pam Hearn (Brian), Paul Stocker (Debbie), Diane Colbert (Dave), and John Stocker; along with many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Stocker.
In retirement, Michael found happiness in life’s simple blessings. He loved camping with his many friends, gathering with family, and creating lasting memories with those he loved most. Michael had a quiet and steady presence that brought comfort to those around him. His strength did not need to be loud to be deeply felt. Through his kindness, reliability, and unwavering love for his family, he made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Michael’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the values he instilled, and the countless memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who loved him.
