Mike was a longtime partner to my niece Julie Ann (Akers) Hooks. I didn’t know Mike personally, but I know how very devoted Julie was to Mike, and so Mike was dear to me because of Julie. My sincere condolences to Julie and all of Mike’s family. To say it is difficult and sad to see someone you love losing their health doesn’t began to describe the grief it causes. So you have my love and prayers for comfort and peace during your time of mourning.

MIke was a long time family friend and the best guy to call when you needed a carpenter. He was often a regular around our family table. Many jokes and stories were told while he worked on many parts of our homes.
My heart goes out to Julie and his family.
