My dear old friends Tony and Vic, I was just reminiscing with my brother Jeff about the “good old days” playing baseball at Holiday Park and I thought I’d look up my old baseball coach from the Grays and the Royals. Needless to say I was heartbroken to see that your father had passed away last October. He was such a great man and a wonderful gentleman. To say those years were memorable would be an understatement. How I loved our team practices and all the games we played together. Tony, I remember our All-Star game when we got beat by Urbandale National 8-0. Can that possibly be 50+ years ago? Where do the years go?
Please pass along my condolences to your Mom and sisters. I loved your family as we shared so many wonderful childhood memories and experiences. May your father’s memory be a blessing to all of the Murillo family.
