Monte Dale Sanford

Monte Dale Sanford was born March 31, 1967, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Max and Rita (Sullivan) Sanford, Sr. He passed away April 25, 2026, at the age of 59. Monte’s gift of organ donation after his death will help to save lives, as both of his kidneys will be gifted to a donation candidate.

During his teenage years, Monte helped with the family yard business, mowing and raking. He also assisted with the family vacuum business, working in both the office and service areas.

He is survived by his sister, Toni Golly; brothers, Mark Sanford, Matthew Sanford, and Martin Sanford; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Monte was preceded in death by his parents, Rita and Max Sanford; sisters, Vicki Sanford Hiatt and Michelle Lynette Sanford; and brothers, Max Dale Sanford, Jr., and Michael Dale Sanford.

Cremation will occur, and there will be no formal services held at this time.
