Nicholas Trotter Cruz

Nicholas Dante Trotter Cruz was born October 10, 2025, to Erika Cruz and Jaleel Trotter. He touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with and his life was a beautiful testament to love, strength, and hope. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

Born with Trisomy 16, Nicholas fought courageously every day of his life. On July 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of his mommy and daddy, who held him close, he peacefully entered the arms of the Lord at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Nicholas loved music and especially enjoyed playing with the piano on his play gym. He was an active little boy who delighted in kisses and loved listening to the voices of those around him. His sweet spirit, gentle strength, and the joy he brought to his family will never be forgotten.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Erika Cruz and Jaleel Trotter; big sister, Azalea Trotter; his grandparents, Lorenzo Cruz, Alejandra Conseco, Peter Trotter, and Kristy Trotter; great-grandparents, Ambrosio Cruz, Zotera Mendoza, Regina Apolonio, and Lois Thomas; aunts and uncles, Salvador Cruz, Norma Cruz, Elias Cruz, Yael Cruz, Aaliyah Trotter, Jada Trotter, Tydarius Trotter, and Peter Trotter, Jr.; as well as a host of cousins, extended family and many family friends.

Nicholas Dante Trotter Cruz nació el 10 de octubre de 2025, hijo de Erika Cruz y Jaleel Trotter. Tocó la vida de todos los que lo conocieron y su existencia fue un hermoso testimonio de amor, fortaleza y esperanza. Su recuerdo permanecerá para siempre en los corazones de quienes lo amaron.
