Patricia Ann Rubino, 97, passed away November 14, 2025.
She was born January 22, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents, Walter and Hallie Posnecker.
Patricia is survived by her children, Cynthia (Thomas) Hughes and Kathy (James) Buntenbach; 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; and her parents, Walter and Hallie Posnecker.
Graveside service will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.

I was sad to see this today on the website. I have been praying for her after we talked at our high school reunion. She was a beautiful woman and very kind. We sometimes got each other's mail since we had the same house number. We would chat when I stopped by to bring her or receive my mail.
Kathy, you have been a faithful daughter and wonderful support to your dear mom for many years!

Kathy, Cindy and family. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed Patty during our time together. I have thought of her often since I have retired. She was "ONE OF A KIND".
