Ronald D. Miklus

Ronald Dean Miklus, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.

Ronnie was born July 30, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa to Mary and Jack Miklus.

He proudly served in the United States Navy and was a member of the Plumbers/Steamfitters Union. Ronnie enjoyed playing golf and spending time at Clear Lake.

Ronnie is survived by his wife of 25 years Karen, his mother Mary, aunts, uncles, cousins, his dog Bovi and his cat Gracie.

He was preceded in death by his father Jack.

Cremation will occur and there will be no services held at this time. Ronnie will be interred at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
