Sharon Miller
February 06, 1950 — June 19, 2025
Sharon K. Miller was born February 6, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents Otis and Mildred Wiand. She passed away on June 19th, 2025 in the company of her loved ones.
Sharon graduated from Des Moines East High School. She then worked at the T29 Target Store in Des Moines for 30 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed watching (and feeding) her backyard critters, gardening, and eating her way through the Iowa State Fair. She also enjoyed multiple trips to Hawaii with her husband, Butch. Family will greet friends for the visitation on Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens located on 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.
The funeral service will take place at the same Hamilton’s location on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10 am. Following the service will be a procession to the Oakwood cemetery in Pleasant Hill for a graveside service and burial.
