Slobodan Crncevic

On April 19, 2024, Slobodan Crncevic, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away at age 66 years following a short battle with cancer.

He was a kind and good man that always tried to make everyone around him laugh and be happy. Slobodan loved to fish and spend time outdoors. He enjoyed long walks with the family dog and above all he loved his family.

Slobodan will be greatly missed by his wife, Mira; son, Igor (Radmila) Crncevic; daughter, Vanja (Milan) Leka; grandchildren, Nikola, Tatjana, Maya, Alen and Alexandar; his brothers, Zoran (Djemila) Crncevic, Milenko (Slobodanka) Milovic; sisters, Smiljana (Borislav) Stankovic, Milenka (Marko) Boskovic; and many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters- in-law, as well as extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Milorad and mother Milica, father -in- law Josip and mother -in -law Anica.

Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024 at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church, 4655 NE 3rd Street in Des Moines, IA, with burial following at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines. A memorial lunch for family and friends will take place at the church after the burial.
