Steven "Duff" Martin

Steven Michael Martin, 75, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Steve (Duff) Martin was born on June 16, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Harold and Harriett (Juline) Martin. He retired as a Course Developer/Instructor from Northwestern Bell, where he built a long and dedicated career.

Steve had a deep appreciation for the simple joys in life. He loved visiting the Farmers Market and spending time in his unique underground home, a space that reflected his creativity and individuality. Above all, Steve cherished time spent with his family, which brought him the greatest happiness.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Martin; sister, Jeri (John) Stoffel; step-brothers, Ron Hall and John Hall; Nephew, Tyler Townsend; step-father, Richard Hall; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
