Vone Amphonephong

Grandma Vone Amphonephong was born on May 20th, 1939, at Ban Ilay, Vientian Laos. She was the first-born daughter of Phan and Champa Amphonephong they have 10 children all together, with 4 daughters and 6 sons. Grandma Vone was married to Ngud (Deceased) Phommaxaysi back in 1957 and had 6 children all together, Soubinh - Des Moines, Nalinh - Lao, Chantakhin – Des Moines, Chantachone - Lao Phounphone – Des Moines, Khonesavanh – Lao. She left behind 14 grand children and 9 Great grandchildren. Grandma Vone relocate from Laos to Des Moines, United States in 2001, she passed on Friday January 16th 2026 at age of 86 at home peacefully and surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
