Yvonne A. Bergman

Yvonne Ann Bergman, 86, of Des Moines, Iowa went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in her home.

Yvonne was born January 25, 1939, to Willard and Barbara Collins. She was married to her former husband, Arnie Bergman and they had one son, Jonathan Bergman of Des Moines, Iowa. Yvonne was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed working in the yard, thrift shopping, taking photos, and reading. She was a great listener to many and made others feel special by remembering small details about their lives. Most of all, she took immense pride in being a mother. The devotion, dedicated, support, and love she had for her son will always be cherished.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Bergman; sister, Annabell Poole; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
