Beckett Lee Russell-Lappe was born on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at just 25 weeks, to parents Mia Christy and Colby Lappe in Des Moines, Iowa.

Beckett’s family was blessed to spend 7 precious months with him before he went to his heavenly home on August 8, 2025. In his short but meaningful life, Beckett experienced the warmth of his parents’ touch, the love of his family’s embrace, and heard the words “I love you” more times than could ever be counted.

Beckett is deeply loved and forever cherished by his mommy and daddy; his big brothers, Christopher and Bentley; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He will always remain his parents’ precious baby and beloved little brother.

Beckett was preceded in death by his grandpa, Christopher, and great-grandparents Fred, Ruth, Russell, and Annie.
