Bonna Dee Miner

Bonna Dee (Lenox) Miner 93 years old was called home on March 17, 2026, surrounded by her granddaughters and great grandchildren. Bonna Dee was born August 7, 1932, in Des Moines Iowa.

Bonna Dee was married to the love of her life Paul Dwaine Miner for 64 years before he passed. Bonna Dee was a stay home mom to her amazing kids and bookkeeper for her husband’s business till 1992. Once retired Bonna Dee spent her time with her husband, granddaughters and great grandchildren.

Bonna Dee was raised on the east side of Des Moines then moved to Pleasant Hill in 1960. She graduated East High in 1950 and was an East High Scarlett by heart her whole life.

In her free time, she loved spending time with family and friends as well as playing bean bag baseball.

Bonna Dee is survived by Sweetie her pride and joy poodle, her granddaughters Christina (Eric)Boeckman, Amanda (Scott) Savage. Great Grandchildren James Paul (Jenna) Bullington, Taylor (Dylan) Bullington, Natalie (Ashton) Savage, A. Rocky Savage, Avery Boeckman. Great Great Grandchild William Bowman-Savage, Paisley Bullington. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Bonna Dee joined her husband Paul Dwaine, daughter Catherine Jensen, son James Paul Miner, dad Berle Lenox, mom Marie Lenox, son in law Steven Jensen, sister Barbara Lenox Monk, brother Kenneth Lenox and nephew Tom Monk at the golden gates into heaven.

Celebration of life will be planned with family and friends at a later date.
