Connie Sue Marshall-Rupe, 60, passed away on June 7, 2026 in Des Moines. She was born on April 5, 1966, the daughter of John and Rosetta (Countryman) Marshall.

Connie grew up in the Valley Junction area of West Des Moines and remained a lifelong resident of Des Moines. She was a devoted member of Immanuel Pathway of Central Iowa. Connie will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her. A beloved mother, sister, and friend, she touched many lives and leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Connie’s memory include her loving daughter, Anitaanne Louise Rupe; brother, John Allen Marshall; sisters, Ann (Dave) Engelbrecht and Alice (Dan) Cater; brother Richard (Ericka) Binns; 2 nieces; 2 nephews, along with extended family and many friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Rosetta Countryman-Stenger and father, John Carl Marshall.

Services will be held at Saylorville Church, 6429 NW 6th Drive, Des Moines, Iowa. The date and time of the services are pending and will be announced and posted when finalized.
