Cuc Baccam

Cuc Baccam, 88, passed away at her home on September 24, 2025. Services will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Vietnamese Evangelical Church, 2940 E. Ovid Ave. in Des Moines with visitation prior from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.

Cuc was born in Vietnam and came to the United States in 1995 with her husband and son, Simon. The rest of the family, 5 children, were able to join in 2016 and 2017. Cuc was a homemaker and a talented seamstress. She was an avid reader of the Bible and a devoted member of Vietnamese Evangelical Church.

This kind and loving woman is greatly missed by her children, Linh, Thai (Hong), Oanh (Hiep), Anh (Haong), Simon (Phung) and Huyen (Dung); 16 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
