Denice Stacelene Grove, 63, passed away on January 16, 2026, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born on February 4, 1962, in Des Moines to Paul Sr, and Rita (Easley) Grove.
Denice graduated from Saydel High School in 1980. She went on to build a career in clerical and administrative roles, working for several organizations including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, RDG, and Wells Fargo. In addition to her professional work, she was a Thirty-One consultant for many years, a role she greatly enjoyed.
Denice was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs superfan and an avid elephant collector. She loved making crafts and spending time working in her flower garden. Denice especially enjoyed attending Comic-Con with her daughter, Alex. A true rock-and-roll fan, she loved going to concerts, with her favorite band being KISS.
Above all, Denice cherished spending time with her family, her grandchildren, and her beloved dog, Pepsi.
Denice is survived by Michael (Amanda) Kimrey; daughter, Alexandria Edison; grandsons, Kody Kimrey, Brandon Kimrey and Michael Kimrey; sister, Brenda Grove; nephews, John (Kimberly) Beaderstadt and Tanner Beaderstadt; great nephew, Rowan Beaderstadt; sister-in-law, Lorie Grove and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul Grove Jr.; maternal and paternal grandparents and new born baby daughter.

Denice, you will be missed. You were one of the very first friends that I made when I moved to Des Moines. You had a great sense of humor and I'll miss being able to reach out to talk to you.

I am sorry to hear of your family’s loss. Denise and I worked together at Wells Fargo and she helped organize cards and care packages for me when I was deployed. Denise was Incredibly supportive and I had nothing but positive memories of her. She was a blessing to be around.
