Jay "Jackie" Ngo

Jay Jackson Ngo, age 64, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Jay was born November 26, 1960 in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles and Barbara Waldron.

He enjoyed singing karaoke and made up jingles to make anyone laugh, he had a joy for toys, and truly enjoyed collecting antique ones, including his favorite Mr. Potato Heads.
Jay enjoyed saving kitties, and feeding all the strays, and he truly loved his family and
friends.

He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Waldron (Richard) niece, Rene Millard Ira; nephew; Steve Millard (Jenny); nephew Eric Waller (Lori). Great Nieces; Heather (Josue) Hiedi (Kelly), Jamie (Johnny) Coley (Travis), Tarah (Justin) Great Nephews; John (Rosie), Joseph, Jacob, Tristan, Dylan, Tyler, and Tanner (Rachel) Any many many great great nieces and nephews.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents Charles, and Barbara Waldron, Sisters, Cecilia, Sandra, and Nephew Shawn.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at St. Ambrose Cathedral, 607 High Street, Des Moines. Jay will be laid to rest beside his parents at Ravanna Cemetery, Missouri.
