Judith Doreen Pullin, 85, passed away at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on August 3, 2026. She was born on July 30, 1941 in Waterloo, Iowa to Leslie and Lucille (Aswegan) Carstensen.

Judy was retired as an executive administrator in the radiology department at Mercy Hospital. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Judy loved to travel in her Coach and would go south in the winter to Texas with Wayne and her dogs, Sophie and Libby. She enjoyed decorating her entire home.

Judy and Wayne enjoyed tailgating at the Iowa Hawkeye football games, where they met many lifelong friends.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Dorrie (Jerri) Teed, Susie (Matt) Weems and Jennifer Angell; sons, Clint Pullin and Kevin (Alicia) Pullin; grandchildren, Amanda, Cassandra (Brad), Emily (Jon), Whitney (Erik), Sarah (Colt), Megan (Brandon), Michael, Jackson, Sydney, Lexie, Mikayla (Corey) Sarah (Shane), Grant (Devin), Abigail (Thad) and Andrew (Darine) and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her partner of 30 years Wayne Perk; parents, Leslie and Lucille Carstensen; brother, Dale Carstensen and sister Donna Freese.
