Judy A. Matko (age 82) passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, in Ankeny, Iowa.

Judy was born on February 15, 1943, to Charles and Rosaleen Kingston. She grew up in Flinton, Pennsylvania with her three sisters Rosalie (Kenny) Stallard, Harriet (Jack) Knight, Sandra (Tommy) Hotzclaw, and one brother Kevin (Sherry) Kingston.

On October 31, 1964, she was united in marriage to Charles Matko at St. Basil Catholic Church in Coalport, Pennsylvania.
She was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She adored her grandson Matthew and granddaughter Emma. She leaves behind daughters Sandra (Paul) Cocanougher and Karen (Bert) Braud.

She worked so hard to continue the business she started with her late husband until her retirement. She will be most remembered as very loving, generous, and having an unyielding faith in God. Judy was vibrant, friendly, and connected with people easily with her laughter and smile.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles Matko in 1993; parents Charles and Rosaleen; siblings Sandra Hotzclaw and son-in-law Paul Cocanougher

There will be a private family service. Her remains will be buried at Beaver Valley Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
