Larry Ernest Patterson was born on October 28, 1948 and passed away on August 8, 2025 at 5:00 a.m., surrounded by his loved ones.

Larry served in the Marine Corps from 1968-1972. He left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant, serving a year of that in Vietnam.

Larry worked 31 years at Chrysler after getting out of the service. He loved his house boat and being out on the water, this was his home away from home. He loved going to auctions and never let a “good deal” go!

Larry was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, great grandfather and friend. He always made sure everyone was taken care of. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Larry is survived by Rhonda Patterson; daughters, Cheryl, Dianna, Melissa and Misty; sister-in-law, Donna Rumley and niece (special daughter) Betty Davis; siblings, Glenda, Kenny and Gary; grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Anthony, Makenzey, Kaleb, Karter, Fredrick and Ethan; 6 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Irene Patterson; brothers, Sonny, Jerry and Emmett and sisters, Donna, Janet and Evelyn.
