Lois would let Diane use the car to drive her and I to the games in town. She would tell us “ only to the game and no place else”. We would agree and head to Bondurant where we would proceed to pick up a couple more friends, crank the radio, smoke cigarettes and drive all over Polk County. Before we went back to Farrar we found out the game score in case anyone asked. Little did we know but Lois checked the mileage before we left. We were clueless..well until we both got in trouble.
My condolences to you all. I have lots more memories over the years of Lois. Prayers!
