Lynn Louise Johnson, 69, passed away on July 17, 2025, at Parkridge Specialty Care Center. She was born on March 27, 1956, in Des Moines to Frederick and Louise (Vining) Jacobsen.

Though she only worked at Kidney Care at Methodist Hospital for a short time, Lynn truly enjoyed it. She loved her dog, Spike, spending time with friends, who meant so much to her and attending the Iowa State Fair. But above all, Lynn loved her grandchildren and loved watching them grow up.

Lynn is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Shawn) White; son, Chad (Meriel) Hall; grandchildren, C.C., Sydney, Daniella and Nathan, as well as many friends that will keenly miss her.

While her earthly body is gone, her soul is with her departed loved ones in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Lynn will be laid to rest at the Altoona Cemetery in Altoona, Iowa

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in loving memory of Lynn.
