As Mike's youngest half-brother, I had a lot of fun in my youth as Mike came to visit us on weekends and holidays. When I was nine or so, he even gave me an official pair of East High School Football shoulder pads, which I used to help in my domination of neighborhood pigskin games (often in a Green Bay Packers uniform). Later in life, we played softball together (a team Mike helped organize), and we had a lot of fun during and after (buuuurp) games. Needless to say, it was fun watching his daughters grow up, and he helped inspire me to be a loving and involved father. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
