Michele Goss
Ankeny, Iowa
It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my mother, Michele Goss, on June 11, 2026, at the age of 54 years old. After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.
She is survived by her children and their families; Andrew, Ashley, and Kayson Goss, Joseph, Aries, and Oak Goss, Cassandra Goss and Spencer Smith. Along with her grand-dog, Charlie, and companion animal, Chance.
Revelation 21:4
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Michele was a one of a kind woman. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She spent her life caring for others and was happiest when she had someone or something to nurture. Whether she was caring for her family, decorating her home, spoiling her grandchildren, tending to her pets, or simply making sure everyone around her was taken care of, her love was shown through countless everyday acts of kindness.
She had a gift for making a house feel like a home. She loved decorating, celebrating holidays, and creating special memories with those she loved. She treasured her family and found great joy in being a mother and grandmother.
Michele also had a wonderfully silly and playful side that brought laughter to those around her. Her warmth, kindness, and caring nature will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Perhaps above all else, Michele’s greatest love was her husband, Jeffrey. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion to one another. Though their time apart felt far too long to those who loved them, they are together once again.
Funeral services will not be held, due to her own wishes while she was alive.

Thank you Michelle for always being there for Joe, Aries, and Oak. Remaining so strong and spending time with them while going through treatments.
You were a wonderful person and I know that together, you and Jeff will keep an ever watchful eye on your family, keeping them from harm and bringing them positivity.

I love and miss you already. This all still feels unreal. I just wanna go ahead and text you. Now I don’t have anyone to answer those questions or talk about Jesus with you. The last thing you told me was to put more effort into my church and my home. I will be forever grateful for brining me up after losing my job.
I love you so much.
