Paul “Skip” Richard Albright, 83, passed away on June 18, 2026, of a sudden heart attack at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born on May 11, 1943, to Paul and Floretta Albright.

Skip retired from Massey Ferguson and went on to volunteer with the Saylor Township Fire Department for 20 years. After retirement, he enjoyed camping so much that he volunteered his time with the Corps of Engineers at Saylorville Lake and also worked with them at Coralville Lake, with a combination of 30 years. Skip enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and his dogs Annie, Missey, Saylor and Phynli.

Skip is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elnora Albright; daughter, Brenda Kirschbaum; sister, Jeri Fontanini; brother-in-law, Jack Riley; grandchild, Shannon (Chad) Schenk; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Phoenyx; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Jody Moore; brothers, Bill (Jeri) Albright and Bob (Bonnie) Albright.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 2:00 p,m., at Bob Shetler, shelter house #1, Saylorville Lake, Johnston, Iowa.
