As a Storekeeper Second Class (SK(SW)), he exemplified discipline and commitment during his years of military service. Following his honorable discharge, Rich pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security—a field that aligned with his lifelong passion for technology.

For over a decade, Rich worked as a data center technician. His technical expertise and work ethic made him a valued member of every team he joined. Whether troubleshooting complex systems or mentoring others in the field, Rich approached his work with integrity and diligence.

Above all else, Rich cherished time spent with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Angela; daughters Rachel and Alycia; sons Caelin and Zachary; and granddaughter Hazel. His presence will also be deeply missed by his sister Kandee; step-brothers Rob, Jeff, and Jim; nieces Ashlee, Jesse, and Lily; along with many others whose lives were touched by his warmth.
