Robert "Bobby" Lee Stockman

Robert “Bobby” Lee Stockman passed away on October 17, 2025, peacefully at the Mary Greeley Hospice Care Center in Ames, Iowa.

Bobby was born on December 8, 1963, to Kenneth and Estella (Thompson) Stockman in Des Moines, Iowa; where he had lived most of his life. He had lived in Boone, Iowa, for the last twelve years with his mother.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Estella of Boone; his brother, Kenyon (Karen) Stockman of Des Moines; his five sisters, Rebecca (Bob) Scholl of Dawsen, Michelle Sandvig of Dawsen, Karen (Willie) Weatherman of Cambridge, Carol (Jon) Hathaway of Boone, and Christina (Laura) Schwab of Florida; his beloved dogs, Layla and Josie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Kenny; his maternal and paternal grandparents; his nephew, Hunter Hathaway; and many aunts and uncles.

Family will be greeting friends during a Celebration of Life with luncheon in honor of Bobby from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Dorcus Hall; 208 Water Street, Cambridge, Iowa.
