Sharon Ann Mick

Sharon Mick, 85, passed away November 30, 2025, at The Village A Wesleylife Community in Indianola, Iowa.

Sharon was born August 17, 1940 in Newton, Iowa, to Sumner Lynch and Genevieve (Bennett) Starrett. She married Marvin Mick and dedicated many years of her life as a stay-at-home Mom caring for their three children. Later, she became certified as a phlebotomist, and greatly enjoyed her career in the healthcare industry.

Sharon enjoyed reading, sewing, crochet, traveling with Marvin during retirement, and spending time with family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her children, Teresa Smith, Bryan (Jamie) Mick and Steven (Mary Schley) Mick; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years and her parents.

A graveside service with military honors in honor of Sharon and her husband, Marvin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Iowa Veterans Cemetery; 34024 Veterans Memorial Drive, Adel, Iowa.
