Todd Weller

Todd Weller, 66, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at his home in Urbandale, Iowa, surrounded by his family and the presence of God’s love.

Todd was born March 17, 1959 to Newton and Marlene Weller in Bethesda, Maryland.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly; children, Jessica (Jenkins) Weller, Katherine Weller, Josh Weller and Jake Weller; grandchildren, Cameron, Cash and Lillian; brothers, Bart (Jody), Marc (Candie), George, Larry (Kate), and Kenny. Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Marlene; brother, Scott and sister, Connie.

Todd walked through this world with a gentle spirit, a steadfast heart, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him. He devoted his days to working hard and always helping others. But his greatest joy was found in his family. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a cherished son, a faithful brother, a proud grandfather and a true friend to many.

Todd loved teaching those who were curious and learning from others. He loved rebuilding the many BMW’s he had over the years, constructing model airplanes and tinkering-always eager to test his engineering mind. He cherished travelling and camping with his family, always seeking out a new adventure. He was a man of quiet testimony whose example of trust, humility, love, faith and compassion will live on in the lives of all who knew him.

Though our hearts grieve his absence, Todd reminds us “This is just a blip in time”. We rejoice knowing he has entered eternal rest and is now embraced by his Lord and Savior. His legacy of love, faith, and family will remain with us forever. In the words of Todd “I’ve had a great time, let’s go back and do it again!”

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:30 -8:30 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Giovannetti Community Shelter, 9000 Douglas Avenue in Urbandale, Iowa 50322. Come as you are.
