Xan Wilkins, age 33, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at his home. He was born the son of David and Kari Wilkins on July 8, 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Xan was a dedicated registered nurse who worked at Pine Acres Rehabilitation & Care Center. He had a deep love for the holiday season, often going all out with Christmas decorations, and cherished spending time with friends over shared meals, craft nights, and his passion for collecting antiques. Known for his generous spirit and kind heart, Xan took great joy in giving to his friends, family, and all those he cared about. Xan had a great sense of humor, he was witty, clever, and had a quirky personality that always had people laughing. He never missed a chance to make someone smile.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is lovingly survived by his siblings Zeb (Chelsea) Wilkins, Eric Robbins, Yance Birmingham, and Rachel Tucker, grandparents Gail and Tom Gish, aunts and uncles Daniel (Angela) Glann and Andrew (Abby) Glann, a host of cousins, his beloved nephew, Jack, and many great friends.

Xan was preceded in death by his parents, and great-grandparents whom he was very close with Richard and Joan Haller.
