🐾 In Loving Memory of Finland “Finn”

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Finland “Finn,” a cherished member of the Hamilton’s family.

Finn, a beautiful Merle Great Dane from Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee, was truly a gentle giant. Known for her calm, loving nature, she brought comfort, joy, and a sense of peace to everyone she encountered. Finn had a special way of connecting with both our staff and the families we serve, offering quiet companionship during moments when it was needed most.

She loved playing with other dogs, going on walks, and splashing in the lake—but one of her most endearing traits was her ability to “camouflage” herself behind the peace lily plants around the funeral home, always bringing a smile to those who spotted her.

Finn was a familiar and comforting presence at our corporate headquarters in the East Village, where she came to work each day alongside her mom, Morgan Wallerich, our Family Services Coordinator and First Floor Manager. She truly looked forward to being here—greeting staff, visiting with families, and simply being part of the Hamilton’s family.

Finn’s gentle spirit and unconditional love will be deeply missed, but her impact on our team and the many lives she touched will never be forgotten.
